Scripture

“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

About

We are a social club with a diverse group of women, 50 years of age and older. We celebrate and support our having achieved the status of being “seasoned” Christian women. We uplift one another through fellowship and prayer. We use our weekly social gatherings to forge strong bonds of spirit-filled friendships that positively impact our purpose and identities. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are committed to using our time together to connect our members in an environment of peace, rejuvenation and fun. We will trust and strengthen each other through communication and affirm one another in our callings.

Mission

The mission of the Guiding Lights is to bring seasoned, mature women in Christ together for the purpose of encouraging and supporting one another through prayer, worship and interpersonal relationships. We plan events that also create opportunities for the women to have fun and fellowship with each other.

Vision

Our vision is for women of all walks of life to come together to share our wisdom, gifts and talents; and fortify each other. We will touch the lives of many women by sharing our spiritual, mental and physical successes and challenges to inspire each other as we continue to learn, grow and be the women that God created us to be.

Ministry Requirements

Our social club requires women to be 50 years of age or older. Although this ministry is predominately women, seasoned men over the age of 50 are encouraged to join us for weekly fellowships.
