About
The Board of Stewards is responsible for the Spiritual health of the church. They are responsible for the welfare of the Pastor and seek to assist in the needs of the congregation. They oversee the church operations to include all ministries, finances and organization.
Mission
The Steward Board’s Mission is to increase our spiritual growth and model positive interpersonal skills through our actions, communication, character and spiritual wisdom from God
Vision
The Steward Board seeks:
To spiritually encourage the Pastor verbally as well as prayerfully.
To secure the Pastor’s approval on all spiritual programs.
To spiritually and financially support all church ministries.
To model and set good examples of faithful Christian living.
Ministry Requirements
The Pastor presides over and appoints the Board of Steward members annually. The Presiding Elder at the First Quarterly Conference confirms the Board. This group is responsible for the overall needs of the Local Church: finances, Pastor and the general welfare of its members. The Stewards also assist the pastor in delivering communion to the sick and shut-in members of the church. The pastor appoints a president pro tempore in his/her absence.
